Bug Reproduction Recorder ("we", "our", or "the extension") is a Chrome extension built for QA engineers to record browser interactions and generate bug reports. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you use the extension, we collect the following data:
We do not collect data outside of active recording sessions. The extension does not track your browsing history.
Password fields and sensitive inputs are automatically masked (shown as ••••••••) and are never stored or transmitted.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted on servers in Frankfurt, Germany (EU). Screenshots are stored in Supabase Storage. We do not sell your data to third parties.
Bug reports are private by default. A shareable link is only generated when you explicitly click "Copy share link." Shared reports are accessible to anyone with the link.
Free tier reports are retained for 30 days. Pro tier reports are retained indefinitely. You can delete your reports at any time from your account dashboard.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To request data deletion, contact us at the email below.
This extension is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes via the extension update notes.

The extension may request access to your microphone when you enable the microphone toggle before recording. Microphone audio is only captured during active recording sessions and is mixed into the video file. Audio data is stored in your Supabase account and is not shared with third parties.
The extension may request access to your camera when you enable the Camera Bubble feature. The webcam feed is displayed as an overlay on your screen during recording and is captured as part of the video. The raw camera stream is not stored separately.
When system audio or microphone recording is enabled, audio is mixed into the session video file and stored in Supabase Storage under your account. You can delete your recordings at any time.
